Residents in the ward will be asked to choose one councillor who will represent them on St Helens Borough Council following a vacancy in the ward.

Candidates interested in standing have until 4pm on Friday, 29th May to put themselves forward.

Voters in the ward have until Tuesday, 9th June to register to vote for the election if they haven't already and those wanting to vote by post must apply for this by 5pm on Wednesday, 10th June.

Anyone who will be voting in person at a polling station on the day needs to make sure they bring approved voter ID, and if they do not have this they can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate and the deadline to apply for this is 5pm, Wednesday, 17th June.

For those who are unable to vote on the day but do not want a postal vote they can choose to opt for a proxy vote, where someone votes on your behalf, and the deadline to apply for this is also 5pm, Wednesday, 17th June.
