Come along to our Active Travel event where a range of local services are ready to support you to feel great and live well.
The event will be hosted at the Community Hub North, Moss Bank Library, and will bring together council and community services including Age UK, Pedal Power, Sports Development, transport planning, stop smoking, community safety, affordable warmth.
Already cycling? Bring your ride along as there'll be free bike maintenance with Dr Bike, and police bike marking, which is a highly effective, visible deterrent to bike thieves.
Drop in to the Hub on Monday 17 August, 10am to 2pm, and enjoy a lunchtime walk around the scenic Carr Mill Dam from 12:30pm, guided by St Helens Wellbeing service.
Councillor Stephen Claybrook, St Helens Borough Council's Cabinet Member for Leisure, Culture and Heritage, said: "Whether you're looking to become more active, build your confidence travelling around the borough, or simply find out more about the support available in your local area, this event is a great opportunity to speak to experts and community organisations in one place. We look forward to welcoming residents and helping them take their first steps towards a healthier, more active lifestyle."
